Just one working day is required to make a new company fully operational. Potential investors need an absolute minimum of documents to set up any company type: passport and a proof of address. Such speed and effectiveness have been unprecedented in the UAE so far.
Like in other UAE free zones, companies are wholly owned by their shareholders and are exempt from any and all taxes, provided that they conduct their activities abroad or within the free zones. Annual audit is not required; share capital of any company is nominal and is not required to be paid in.
